The nine-time Nationwide winner in a thumping dash to the finish line, posted top times and won two Nationwide Championship lessons, the 4-stroke Tremendous Activity 1051cc to 1650cc (Suzuki Hayabusa) class and the 4-stroke Tremendous Activity 551-850cc classification astride a Kawasaki ZX6R, besides the 851 to 1050cc race, which is declared as a support race this time.
The Bengaluru rider, even so, missed a chance to make a clear sweep, owing to technical glitches, and could only complete seventh in the recently re-introduced Unrestricted Open up course.
Despite a slight hold off in his reaction time, Muddappa romped residence to a sweet victory in 8.614 seconds as he made his debut in the 4-stroke 550 to 850cc class touching a top rated pace of 198.45 kmph. Shifting to his majestic Suzuki Hayabusa, he dominated the 1051cc to 1650cc race and started his title defence in model. With a major-velocity of 225.14 kmph, he took the honours in a field of 14 riders.
The quickest Indian in motorsports reported: “I am thrilled to get started the period on a positive note. While I am pleased to win a double as we get household a good deal of positives, we proceed to understand and will come back much better in the subsequent two rounds. Our purpose is a few Nationwide titles and we go back again to work. I thank my devoted crew Mantra Racing and all the boys. It is their victory.”
The combination of Mantra Racing and Hemanth Muddappa have been continually ruling the track and winning laurels at the Drag Nationals and have set lots of Countrywide documents. The second round will be on November 5 & 6 though the remaining spherical will determine the National champions on December 17 and 18 at the exact same Drag strip at MIC.
